Hi, I’m Eric.

I’m an object based studio artist and designer.

That just means that my practice is based in making things and I spend a lot of time in my studio.

I design and build everything myself.

My projects vary from small scale design/build for commercial clients, to commissioned furniture, to sculpture, to product design and development – and I love collaborating!

In 2007 I graduated from Biola University with a BFA in interdisciplinary art. Biola has a killer art program and I am eternally grateful for the education I received there.

I also spent many (formative) years as a kind of  ”artist in residence” working at The Lab and The Camp in Costa Mesa, CA. The years I spent there helped me translate my arts education into practical application – and I got to make a lot of rad stuff along the way.

Nowadays, I’m in the final year of graduate work in the Applied Craft and Design MFA program offered jointly by the Pacific Northwest College of Art and the Oregon College of Art and Craft.

My exquisite wife, Heather, makes life twice as exciting and meaningful.  We are loving life in Portland, OR and spend our (limited) free time eating really good food, drinking good beer, and sitting around the fire with friends.
